of square section, with flared sides supported on a recessed splayed base, finely cast around the sides with two dragons, an attendant leaping carp and a bixie, all writhing among tempestuous waves, set with two lion-head handles suspending loose rings, the cover reticulated with two chilong writhing among clouds vying for a pearl, the feet detailed with animal masks, the base incised with a four-character qifu xuanzhi mark ('Made in the Pavilion of the Seven Blessings')

Condition
There is some surface wear to the censer and the cover and a few nicks along the edges, all consistent with the age and type, but overall the incense burner is in very good condition.
