of circular section, the deep vessel with gently rounded sides and raised on three bracket feet, the sides well cast in relief with two dragons each grasping for a 'flaming pearl', set with a pair of dragon head handles suspending mock rings, the base with a six-character apocryphal Xuande mark within a recessed panel, the patina of a rich chocolate-brown colour
