Condition
There has been restoration to the red lacquer and gilt painted fronts. There is overpaint and repairs to splits and consolidation of lifting lacquer. A previously applied varnish is now cloudy and dry on the surface- this may be a result of time as well as sun exposure. There is restoration to splits to the the black lacquered side and back panels. There are chips to the lacquer on the corner and edges. The interiors have been refinished. The mounts are replaced.
