The table is in good condition with the exception of a repair to one foot, possible replacement to one of the top panels and light scratches to the top surface.

本炕桌建構優雅，起線牙條線條流麗，桌面呈長方形，配彎形馬蹄足。炕，北方家居臥榻，以磚砌成，下有孔道，可生火取暖。此桌見於宋朝，供進食、作樂遊戲、閱書、寫字等消遣用途，從當朝書畫及木刻版畫可見。一例可見於劉松年（約1150年-1225年後）《曲水流觴圖》，現藏於台北故宮博物院，載於伍嘉恩，，《Chinese Furniture. Selected Articles from Orientations 1984-1999》，香港，1999年，頁 109，圖版5。

倫敦維多利亞與艾伯特博物館收藏一例，圖見Craig Clunas，《Chinese Furniture》，倫敦，1988年，圖版52；另一例曾展於《Chinese Hardwood Furniture in Hawaiian Collections》，Honolulu Academy of Arts，檀香山，1982年，編號5；紐約蘇富比亦曾售兩例，其一售於2000年9月20日，編號136，其二尺寸較小，售於2012年3月20日，編號145。
