finely painted on cotton with the deities Samantabhadra and Samantabhadri in ecstatic union above Padmasambhava on a lotus throne, encircled by further deities and mounted in silk, the reverse with a lengthy inscription and a monks seal

There is an L-shaped tear to the lower centre to the right of the lower central deity, 2.5cm by 1cm, there is also a horiztonal tear, 1cm long above the lower left dety and general horizontal creases, paint loss and thinning of the canvas throughout and especially to the face of the lower central deity.
