the exterior delicately inscribed with an eight-character inscription in seal script, suwei er xing wei shan zui le ('to act appropriately according to one's position, and be the happiest when doing good deads'), enclosed within two raised fillets at the top and bottom edges, the stone of an even white colour
Condition
The ring is in overall very good condition. The catalogue illustration is a tinge brighter than the actual colour of the stone.
