The cup is in overall very good condition with only a fine body line enclosing the foot and occasional minor surface wear. The enamels have been generally well preserved.

此盃繪芙蓉花，為十二月令花神盃中之十月花神盃。十二月令花神盃雖說成組，各盃在尺寸、顏色、書風和款識上，皆略有差異，別於其他月份之盃，有某些月份之盃較多，另一些則十分珍罕，暗示它們可能並非成套生產，而是逐一燒造，最後才湊合成組。

成套花神盃非常稀有，但北京故宮博物院有藏組，《故宮珍藏康雍乾瓷器圖錄》，香港，1989 年，頁65，編號48。
