清嘉慶 黃地粉彩御製詩海棠式茶盤一對 《嘉慶丁已小春月之中澣》《大清嘉慶年製》款 「嘉」「慶」印

the shallow lobed sides of quatrefoil section, resting on four slightly incurved elongated gilt feet, the interior centred with a quatrefoil panel enclosing an imperial poem pertaining to the preparation of tea and dated to the dingsi year of Jiaqing's reign (corresponding to 1797), all within two bands of scrolling lotus and florets bordering the gilt rim, the exterior similarly decorated with a composite floral scroll band, all the detail picked out in shaded tones of pink, blue and green against a brilliant yellow ground, the yellow base centred with an iron-red six-character seal mark within a white panel, wood stands

There is wear to one of the corners of one of the trays. General rubbing to the gilding on the bracket feet. There are glaze gaps to the base of one tray near the gilt border.

御題詩：
佳茗頭網貢，澆詩必月團。
竹罏添活火，石銚沸驚湍。
魚蟹眼徐颺，旗櫓影細攢。
一甌清興足，春盎避輕寒。

此詩表達了嘉慶皇帝享受宮廷新茶，更分享了他烹茶、觀茶、品茶的經過。清朝皇帝都爱茶，乾隆尤甚，咏茶成為了一種傳統習慣，嘉慶皇帝深受其父的影響。
