Condition
In overall good condition except surface wear, especially to the tips of the lobes, and light scratches as can be expected. There is a minor kiln flake to the biscuit footring, original from the firing process.

本品瓶，通身施釉，釉色粉青，明淨細膩，光亮勻厚，若瓊漿，似玉露，精潤其形，形作海棠之式，行雲流水，急緩有致，一氣呵成，屬乾隆朝瓷藝鼎盛之代表，深通高宗尚古開新之帝王品好。
此類制式，始見雍正一朝，或出唐英之手。可參考一雍正作例，現藏北京故宮博物院，錄《清代御窰瓷器》，卷1，下冊，北京，2005年，圖版160。兩者形制相類，唯前者釉色略偏深沉，尤似汝釉，更顯莊重沉靜。
唐英督陶近三十載，獨創不世功績，大開陶瓷新風。形，必是簡潔清雅，紋，意求樸素無華，靜心寡欲，細品官、哥精髓，探究龍泉奧妙，於斑斕窰火之中，悟盡中華古今瓷道。乾隆帝，心懷尚古，善藏惜珍，所燒之瓷，多承前朝舊制，繼而加以精進，然仿宋、明古品而創新之器，則寥有所見。關於本品之宋時原型，可見一龍泉例，售倫敦蘇富比1988年12月13日，編號123。亦可參考一例，錄George J. Lee，《Selected Far Eastern Art in the Yale University Art Gallery》，紐黑文，1970年，圖版37。
雍正十三年，唐英上呈御窰燒造名目一份，其中錄有青瓷數類。唐英自督陶起，便訪盡名窰古址，鑽研宋、明美瓷，其工、質、形、紋、本，皆深熟於心，融會貫通，創新巧懷古之式，苦盡處，終大有所成。本品青釉，意仿宋之龍泉。康熙一朝，窰工篩減釉中含鐵，得以清潤其質，雍、乾兩朝繼而善之，此法日臻精熟，遂見本品其釉清澈明潤，潺潺好似山溪流水，優雅怡人。
本品之形，三分見古，兩分似尊，一分若壺，週身起筋，好比範線，釉色明潤，又如青玉之至珍，可見一雙象耳瓶例，曾兩售香港蘇富比，於2001年10月29日，編號706及2009年10月24日，編號1827，出自水松石山房收藏。
