The print is in generally good condition. There is a soft crease in the lower edge of the image. There are handling creases throughout the print. There is some chipping along the lower left edge of the image into the margin of the print visible in raking light only. There are a few minor indentations and scratches scattered throughout the image. There is soiling in the margin of the print. The corners of the print have been bumped. The credit stamp on the reverse of the print reads 'PHOTOGRAPH BY FRANCESCO SCAVULLO'. There are notations in pencil on the reverse.
