釋文：寒弟：五日前得覆書，並寄還支票。知弟垂愛，體諒特深。然此款早已存入，決不致如毓姪所開者。兄仍未復元，不能外出。八嫂亦不黯英語，不能往買旅行支票。毓姪為環球航空公司別開航線外出，下月或將到台。家中無人，兄遂事事不便。稍緩，當託人兌上也。巴西昨日轉來弟函，詳示訂購《長江萬里圖》與分寄地址。一星期內必有人來訪，即抄上藝術公司董事長榮銜兄，寵逾九錫矣，付之一笑可也。兄老矣，百事昏憒，年來所遭遇真有不可語人者，而與弟又遠隔萬里，欲得一傾吐肺腑而無由也。敦皇畫展出後情形如？望示一二。兄仍不思飲食，服中葯似稍見效。乞多念。二月十三日，兄爰頓首。
