明嘉靖 青花纏枝花卉紋執壺 《宣德年造》仿款

the flattened pear-shaped body rising from a spreading foot to a waisted neck with everted rim, set with a loop handle opposite a curved spout issuing from a Makara head, both faces moulded with a peach-shaped panel enclosing three floral blooms borne on leafy scrolls, all reserved on a ground of stylised lotus scrolls, the neck with upright leafs and a trellis band, encircled by foliate scrolls at the foot, the handle and spout with floral sprays

The handle of the ewer had been broken and restored. The rim has a 2x0.4cm restored area where the original rim chip had been restuck and surrounding losses infilled. There is a small chip to the spout and some glaze cracks below the strut. The foot has some minor shallow chips and a firing crack with associated chips. Other glaze firing imperfections include minor firing and glaze cracks, fritting, burst glaze bubbles and iron spots.
