modelled in the form of a recumbent deer with a lingzhi sprig in its mouth, before a standing crane grasping in its mouth a leafy sprig of fruiting peaches beside a bat, all set on a rocky ledge with pierced rockwork, the stone of a pale celadon tone with streaks of milky-white inclusions, zitan wood stand

Condition

This jade is in good condition, but does have a polished chip 6mm by 7mm to one corner of the base behind the deer. There are some small chips to the rockwork to the undertide and some flaws running through the head of the deer and the body of the crane.
