superbly wrought out to stand vertically on a single point, the gnarled rock extending upwards and issuing a pendent overhanging protrusion, the craggy stone of a white colour mottled with grey streaks and inclusions, wood stand

Condition
The rock is in good condition. There are several brittle areas, especially at the sharp extremities, but these are not fragile or flaky. The actual rock is of a slightly brighter and more yellowish tone than the catalogue illustration.
