自一九六一年卜居倫敦以來，嘗試脱出傳統另闢蹊徑，摸索道路，尋求創新。迨一九七〇年居加省卡美爾可以居，前後十年間嘗試作油畫，學習不同技巧之各類俱象抽象等表現方灋。自后，年有新作，漸具個人面目，七十年代初期在倫敦莫氏画廊展出獲致嘉評。八十年代北京、南京、無錫展出，繼之以上海公開展覽，復得各界贊譽。此幅係居太平洋海岸時習作之一。今歸。所寫。癸亥召麐誌。
