阿海畢業于南京藝術學院，目前居於北京。他的作品充滿魔幻的夢境感，呈現荒誕、疏離、碎片般的狀態。身穿文人袍衫的人物懸浮在巨石與竹林之間。《楚樓》瀰漫奇異氣氛，兩個長袍寬袖的士人交談。如夢般的場景荒誕莫名，卻因構圖平衡而顯得寧謐平和。
