李義弘是台灣早期實驗藝術圈內代表，專注發展國畫。他於八十年代的創作將中國山水具象畫作元素融為一體。李氏基於傳統繪畫技法，為自己的作品注入當代情感，將人性賦予傳統作品中的學究形象。《松柏下》（拍品編號2882）描繪了一位先生在自己打起瞌睡的學生身旁也昏昏欲睡的模樣。李義弘畫作中描繪的自然一刻為其作品平添一層人性，李氏因此更可被稱為是熱心的攝影師，盼望捕捉當代生活中的一點一滴。《窗外圖》（拍品編號2883）是其使用混合媒材的探索之作，將攝影與水墨相結合。相片於宣紙上打印，再輔以水墨，便將一張靜物圖像轉化為想像中的山水。
