Generally in good condition, there is a non-visible 5 mm small tear on the lower center margin.

自從八十年代初起，王天德便是實驗性水墨藝術先鋒之一，積極推動水墨這一傳統媒介成為當代藝術。在其早期的《圓》系列中，藝術家使用水墨與混合媒材，將山水風景轉化成為純粹的抽象符號。在王天德後來的作品中，《圓》系列的構圖是最貼近西方抽象藝術的，他還將刻有自己姓名的印章印於畫作中央，表示出這一手工製品也同樣是整體構圖的一部分。
