管偉邦乃香港土生土長的藝術家，而且身兼助理教授，其作品屢見概念裝置和精緻的多屏畫幅，尤善繪花卉樹木，其筆工細膩，透露幽幽古雅風情。管偉邦從豐富的多元文化和當代視角出發，在筆下展現靜謐寧和的自然景色，與源於古代中國的「國畫」遙相呼應。在本四聯作《綠竹森森》中，金色的畫面上竹林鬱鬱蔥蔥，背景出自日本傳統金箔畫紙。此外，鑲邊的畫板暗示此為窗外景物，反映現代都市人透過窗戶欣賞自然的常態，為作品添上一層內涵和象徵意義。
