the deep rounded sides rising from a short foot to an indented slightly everted rim, the interior with papercut-resist decoration of thirteen dark brown plum blossom florets, one central the others scattered evenly over the surface, all on a lively grayish-blue speckled ground draining from the rim to a pale amber, the exterior applied with rich brown glaze falling short of the unglazed foot 

Condition

There are two chips to the foot ring and a very small burst glaze bubble to the exterior.

It is rare to find this type of bowl with the cut-out florets on a pale ground.  A similar example recovered at the kiln site is illustrated in Peng Ming Han, Jizhou Kiln, Beijing, 2007, no. 42.
