註：本幅源自民國時期海上名醫舊藏。他懸壺濟世之餘，亦嗜書畫，與文藝界人士頗有過從。徐氏與其具世誼，本幅乃寫畢時送贈留念，並親署簽條。
徐邦達從藝之途甚早，入「梅景書屋」後，得賞歷代名迹，目力日有所進，筆下師古臨古，功力大增。觀其三、四十年代作品，出入古賢，筆墨精嚴，法度規整，尤以追踪元人，無論青綠秀潤，又或渴墨寡淡，皆攝其形神。如本幅仿曹知白者，佈局井然而不堆砌，筆墨蕭疏而不枯澀，以未屆而立之年，造詣若此，當知其早慧也！
