相賞有松間意，自謂是羲皇上人。壬戌良月。吳昌碩時年七十有九。
〈竹〉
䃺成一斗墨，畫出數竿竹；日暮西風，如聞戛寒玉。風下奪來字。壬戌十月。吳昌碩年七十九。
〈梅〉
舊時月色。
壬戌初冬吳昌碩寫於海上癖斯堂，時年七十九。
鈐印：
「 吳俊之印」、「吳昌石」、「雄甲辰」、「昌碩」、「明道若昧」、「吳俊卿」、「明月前身」。

-Foxing can be found on the scrolls, which can be improved by restoration. Otherwise, generally in good condition.

註：本副合松、竹、梅三幀成套，符「歲寒三友」之喻。現藏京都國立博物館之〈松、竹、梅〉三幅，即一九二六年上海日本居留民團，囑缶老為上海義勇團之日本義勇隊隊長大谷恭助大尉所製，並附木盒，畫家親書「香雪」、「金錯刀」、「秦封」於盒蓋，分指松、竹、梅三者，由此可知乃日本書畫收藏界欣賞之習慣，分題寫之，各自成章，合之配套，可聚可散，非四屏散失。
本幅同屬彼邦所藏，與贈大谷者創作年份僅四載之距，可知當時流風所及，三屏非孤例也。若細讀每幀之題識內容，亦見畫家按三友排列之序而依次斟酌下筆。
