南宋 龍泉窰青釉蓮瓣紋盌

with deep rounded sides rising from a slightly tapered foot, the exterior subtly carved with overlapping petals with raised central ribs resembling a lotus flower, applied overall with a bluish-green glaze falling short above a neatly cut footring, the latter left unglazed revealing a smooth grey ware slightly burnt orange in the firing

The bowl is in good overall condition. There is some expected wear and light scratches to the interior. The bluish-green glaze is particularly attractive.

見一類例及一火盆，紀年1204年，出土於陝西一處窖藏， 展覽並錄於《Ice and Green Clouds. Traditions of Chinese Celadons》，印第安納波利斯藝術博物館，印第安納波利斯，1987年，編號76，同錄一盌，出土於宋代古井，位於紹興附近繆家橋，浙江，圖版76b。
