of ovoid form with wide shoulders tapering steeply to a low straight foot, the body divided into lobes, covered overall including the interior with a glaze of ivory tone stopping at the footring

Condition
The jar is generally in good condition. There is retouching to the mouth rim to stabilise fritting. There is an approximately 10.5 cm hairline crack to the body and through to the interior of the jar. There are some further expected flakes to the glaze and firing imperfections including a firing crack to the base.
