depicting a large ram carved recumbent its head turned towards the left, grasping in its mouth a spray of lingzhi, a smaller ram tucked alongside raising its head, the smoothly polished stone of even pale celadon colour
Condition
The group carving is in good condition. There are a few tiny nibbles, probably original, along the edges of the lingzhi twig and leaves. The actual colour consistent, if not slightly warmer and a little more tinged to celadon compared to the catalogue illustration.
