The two carvings are generally in good condition. There is some light surface wear of minor nibbling along the edge, including some nibbling along the edge of one leaf of the spray the two hounds grasp in they mouth . The actual colour of the stones is somewhat warmer and slightly more tinged to celadon compared to the catalogue illustration.
