Condition
The rim is slightly polished, most likely to conceal some fritting. There are surface scratches to the interior and to the exterior of the bowl as well as rubbing to the enamels, predominantly to the iron red on the exterior (showing on the illustration in the catalogue). There are some iron spots to the interior of the bowl and another to the side of the foot. The white ground is somewhat toned to grey, consistent with this type of ware and with the period.
