incised around the exterior with four stylized flower heads divided by clouds, all above a row of petal panels and between double lines encircling the rim and foot, the interior similarly incised with a flower head, applied overall with a rich straw-yellow glaze, save for the base left white and inscribed in underglaze blue with a six-character seal mark

There is an approx. 0.5 cm stained hairline in the glaze to the exterior from the mouthrim, but only the top 0.1 cm passes through to the interior. The bowl is otherwise in overall good condition, except for a few typical firing impurities in the glaze as well as some minor surface scratches. The actual colour is slightly more vibrant than the catalogue illustration.
