The dish has a minor star crack to the base. There is minor wear to the surface consistent with age and use, but the glaze remains glossy and bright.

「雙魚」紋乃廣為流傳之紋飾，此類雙魚紋盤出自南宋至元代。類似的例子，參見Minneapolis Institute of Arts 收藏之相類瓷盤作例，展於「Ice and Green Clouds. Traditions of Chinese Celadon」，Indianapolis Museum of Art（印第安納波利斯，1987年，第77號），並有幾件相關宋元瓷盤及殘片，圖77a-g；另一件宋代相類瓷盤載於《龍泉青瓷》（北京，1966年，圖版32）；屬 Riesco 珍藏之盤則於1984年及1986年兩次售於倫敦蘇富比，再於2007年9月19日售於紐約佳士得，第260號。另一件尺寸略小之例現為紐約大都會博物館館藏，載於《東洋陶磁大觀》（卷十一，東京，1982年，圖版51）；大衛德爵士亦曾藏有一件，現為倫敦大英博物館收藏，圖載於畢宗陶（Stacey Pierson），《Designs as Signs. Decoration and Chinese Ceramics》（倫敦，2001年，圖版11），書中談及「雙魚」紋含夫妻和順、連年有餘之美好寓意（頁19）。

一件相類瓷盤，斷代元朝，載於《龍泉窰青瓷》（臺北，1998年，圖版218）；另有兩件瓷盤為1323年朝鮮海岸所打撈之沉船文物，圖載於《Relics Salvaged from the Seabed off Sinan. Materials I》（首爾，1985年，圖版11，第13號）；伊朗阿德比爾聖廟也藏有一盤，載於三杉隆敏所著的，《中近東之中國瓷器：托普卡比皇宮與阿德比爾聖廟》（香港，1981年，卷三，圖版A230）。
