In good condition, with light wear commensurate with the age of the brooch; some faint scratches noted on the highest point at the center of the fluted gold melon-shaped base. Diamonds are approximately E-G color, VVS-VS clarity. The round pearl is a creamy white body color and displaying clean skin. Signature along top of pinstem, partially obscured (missing part of the V and U in Verdura, and the last two letters not apparent due to the angle of the strike). Height approximately 2 1/4 inches, width approximately 1 1/2 inches.
