Condition
Rubies of Burmese origin cannot be imported into the US. This piece contains rubies of Burmese origin and therefore cannot be imported into the US. Please contact the jewellery department for further information or see our Important Notices.
Accompanied by SSEF report no. 79539, stating that the rubies weighing 3.72 and 3.97 carats, measuring 10.60 x 8.85 x 4.93mm and 10.95 x 8.57 x 4.70mm, are of Burmese origin, with no indications of heating.
Each with maker's marks for Jacques Timey. Stamped PT 950 for platinum and 750 for 18 carat gold. Rubies purplish red of medium strong saturation, well matched in colour, with typical inclusions, some surface reaching, some nicks and abrasions; for further information on the rubies please refer to the SSEF report. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of 7.00 - 8.00 carats, on average G - H colour, VS clarity, as gauged and graded in mounting. Hinged back fittings fit securely. Signs of wear to the metal consistent with light use. In very good condition. Total gross weight approximately 20 grams.
