Colour and Clarity: In our opinion, diamonds on all the pins are about E to G colours, VS clarity. Carved amethyst wing on the "bee" brooch has some fingerprints or feather inclusions, emeralds have natural inclusions and surface pits, only observed under 10x loupe and not seen to naked eyes. Rubies on both the "mouse" and "flower" pins are of strong red colour, eye clean; while the tiny ruby on the "humming bird" pin is deep red hue. All pins are signed. Condition: This group of pins is offered without reserve. There are surface scratches to the blue enamel of the "bird" pin, not seen to naked eyes. Signs of normal wear to the metal of these pins, otherwise all in good condition. IMPORTANT NOTICE: Please note that jadeite and rubies of Burmese origin and articles of jewellery containing jadeite or rubies of Burmese origin all less than 100 years old may not be imported into the US. The purchaser's inability to import any item into the U.S. or any other country as a result of these or other restrictions shall not justify cancellation or rescission of the sale or any delay in payment. Please check with the specialist department if you are uncertain as to whether a lot is subject to these import restrictions, or any other restrictions on importation or exportation.
