Condition
Movement is in working order while cataloguing, battery needs to be replaced. Dial in very good condition. Signs of heavy wear throughout case and bracelet. Very rare and collectible piece for Rolex aficionados.

Beta 21機芯在1970年4月巴塞爾鐘錶展上正式面世。Centre Électronique Horloger (C.E.H)花費近10年時間研發出這款機芯，C.E.H 是由多家著名瑞士製錶廠聯合組成的集團，包括百達翡麗、勞力士、伯爵、萬國、歐米茄及浪琴，當時這些大錶廠均對研發電子機芯躍躍欲試。Edmond Zaugg 是其中一位在勞力士負責研發的工程師。Beta 21機芯面世後，勞力士隨即推出此5100型號，限量生產1000枚，廠方為感謝Zaugg的出色貢獻而贈之以本品。5100/8型號本已稀有，本品的深藍色錶盤是系列中的罕例。
