The watch has been with Jaeger-LeCoultre for a service in August 2015. Dial in very good condition. Case with very little scuffing, seems unused since its revision. The Reverso is one of the most important and iconic of all wristwatch designs and is a ‘signature’ model of Jaeger-LeCoultre.

The Tourbillon was invented in 1795 by Abraham-Louis Breguet who introduced the idea of rotating the complete escapement as it oscillated; this was so the effects of gravity could be compensated from all angles. This complication is considered to be the ultimate complication for watchmakers.
