Please note that the movement has not been tested for the accuracy of its time keeping and therefore a service should be carried out in the near future at the buyer's expense.
The movement is running at the time of cataloguing. The dial with ageing to the luminous indexes and hands, scuffs to the hands. Hands and indexes are no longer glowing. Loss at the 3 o'clock index. Case gently re-polished but with light scuffs and indentations. Bracelet with scuffs. Clasp stamped S Z6 93150, end-links 580. With a service quote dated February 2015.

Reference 1665 was launched in 1967 and was the first watch produced to be used in saturation diving.
The present watch is an exquisite example of this iconic reference. It is further distinguished by a superb and homogeneous patina. The dial is a 'Mark IV', which combines the two red lines in different sizes, the 'Sea-Dweller' is bigger than the 'Submariner 2000', the 'o' of Rolex and the coronet are also larger.
