The movement is running at the time of cataloguing and the calendar is advancing. Dial with hairline cracks between 3 and 4 and to the subsidiary dial indicating the month. The case is worn and has scuffs throughout. The cover of the case back appears to be replaced.

Around the time of the 1867 Paris World Exhibition, the Patek Philippe manufacture produced a small collection of early perpetual calendar watches. According to our research the present watch is the 9tholdest to have survived from this collection. The configuration of the dial is very rare and distinctive as it is unusual to find a Patek Philippe pocket watch with perpetual calendar and moon phases only.
