款識：公孫之劍器可通于艸書，大地河山不出于意想。苦穎尺楮能彂其奇趣者，祗此久不烟火之虛靈耳。必曰如何是筆，如何是墨，與其嘔血十斗，不如嚙雪一團。清湘石濤濟山僧一枝閣。鈐印：老濤、藏之名山
題跋：予尝讀《畫語錄》而知石師以禪理為畫理，筆墨為末，超悟為本也。盖石師以楚藩之後，遭宗社變，力圖囬復，志竟無成。流游江淮，尤愛維揚山水，留寓久之。其人如此，則其畫睥眤古今，橫溢矩矱。自我為古，戛戛孤詣。不敢求俗賞之，非偶然也。石師蚤歲沈潛宋元名畫，心領神會。既成妙手，而後觸緒應機，盖臻渾熟無碍。此卷自言「與其嘔血十斗，不如嚙雪一團」，即謂其畫所以成於禪家冷蒲團也。不知者以火食求之，謬矣。丁卯（1927）除前一夕，長尾甲。鈐印：石隱道人
