釋文：讀酈道元《水經注》、郭璞《山海經》，廣極荒服，高極蒼旻，令人有振衣濯足之想。今古惟司馬子長稱善游，若枕流漱石，未易頡頏也。余車轍所經，渡江涉河。北抵幽薊，南逾粵嶺。時槖子墨以從，得意叫呼，轍作粉本。所謂撫琴動操，令衆山皆響耳。適魯直兄有東兖之行，過靈巗，登泰岱，探無字碑；歷黃華，觀泗水，酌趵突泉。上梯絕壁，下紤窮淵，定不似余向時草草應酬。爰作此圖以增奚曩之勝。異日捫蘿拄策松籟于徐試展，視日觀峰下，猶覺左余右汝而相從杖履之間也。以廣子長遊紀，不更勝乎。脂車戒途，目倚馬跃，數語以歸。
