One stand with two restored clean breaks through the rim and across the top of one leg and a with a single glued break through the base. The other stand with has one barb on one leg restored.

The form, style and painting on the present pair of stands appears to be unique. Famille-verte biscuit stands with solid tops are far more common. A hexagonal stand with a solid top but with similar aubergine-glazed 'faux-bois' cabriole legs with polychrome ruyi is illustrated in John Ayers, Chinese Ceramics, The Koger Collection, New York, 1985, p. 136, no. 108.
