拍品資料及來源

In Chinese Pure Land Buddhism, sets of three buddhas, such as the present lot are referred to as the Buddhas of the Three Horizontal Realms, spatially placing the mundane world we live in at the center, flanked by the Pure Lands in the east and west.  Another grouping of three buddhas, called the Buddhas of the Three Vertical Realms, consists of Dipamkara, Shakyamuni and Maitreya, and represents the temporal realms of past, present and future.
