the deep rounded sides rising from a short straight foot to an everted rim, the exterior decorated in soft pastel enamels in the 'boneless style' with a continuous scene of various floral buds and blooms issuing from the ground next to jagged rockwork, including ruby and pink peonies and pale indigo-blue chrysanthemums, a multi-coloured butterfly fluttering downwards nearby, the base inscribed in underglaze blue with a six-character mark within a double circle, wood stand
Condition
There is a small C-shaped chip to the rim measuring approx. 0.2 x 0.1 cm.
