well potted with deep rounded sides rising from a short straight foot to an everted rim, the exterior painted in soft pastel enamels in the 'boneless style' with a continuous scene of various floral buds and blooms issuing from the ground next to jagged rockwork, including ruby and pink peonies and pale indigo-blue chrysanthemums, a multi-coloured butterfly fluttering downwards nearby, the base inscribed in underglaze blue with a six-character reign mark within a double circle, wood stand

There are a few small kiln flakes to the unglazed footring and some occasional pinpricks, but the overall condition is very good. The enamels have some typical air bubbles but generally have been very well preserved.
