the large saucer-shaped dish with shallow rounded sides rising to a lipped and everted rim, all supported on a short tapering foot, the interior freely painted in soft shaded tones of underglaze cobalt-blue with a leafy branch bearing two large five-petalled gardenia blooms and two tightly closed buds, encircled around the well by fruiting branches of pomegranate, grape, persimmon and a ribbon-tied lotus bouquet, all between double-line borders, the underside with a continuous floral meander of large blooms borne on leafy budding stems, all reserved on a brilliant clear yellow enamel ground, the base glazed white and inscribed with a two column six-character mark within double-circles

此盤青花發色亮麗，黃地瑩亮嬌嫩，繪工細膩流暢。參考倫敦大英博物館藏宣德、成化典型器，見Jessica Harrison-Hall，《Ming Ceramics in the British Museum》，倫敦，2001年，編號4:43及6:16。

博物館及私人藏家都有見弘治黃地青花梔子花盤藏例。台北故宮博物院藏兩件，見《明瓷名品図録》， 卷II，東京， 1977年，圖版72及73，另有青花梔子花盤，圖版70及71。一件藏北京故宮博物院，見《故宮博物院藏文物珍品全集．青花釉裏紅 （中）》 ，上海，2000 年，圖231；另有成化例，圖版230及正德例，圖版233。一例為上海博物館館藏，曾展於《中国歴代陶磁展》，西武美術館，東京，1984年，編號80。

在西方博物館收藏中，美國大都會藝術博物館藏一件，見《Oriental Ceramics.
