The overall condition is very good. There are a few minor filled-in chips and an approximately 3 cm. age crack to the rim. The tail of one of the chilongs has an approximately 1 cm. chip.

此盃色潤濃厚，器身細刻淺雕紋飾，於上雕作渾圓立體之螭龍紋，賦予整體造形生動、強而有力之感。此盃屬仿古一類，其器形、風格、紋飾皆取自高古青銅器、玉器及漆作。仿古器物向來為金石收藏名家青睞，為此，匠人取材自古青銅器，將其紋飾複作於各式媒材之上，如犀角、陶瓷、玉石等，並於高古圖象中融入當代元素，成就了如同此件犀角盃所體現之嶄新美感，此盃器身上的獸面紋及方形盃身，搭配圓雕螭龍紋盃柄正是一例。

一件造形紋飾相類之犀角盃，原為 Stella Pitts-Rivers 珍藏，售於倫敦蘇富比1979年6月15日，編號130；另一例器底無圈足，亦由倫敦蘇富比售出，1988年5月13日，編號484；還有一件作例售於香港佳士得2011年11月30日，編號2906。
