拍品資料及來源
上款：「蒨英」即張蒨英（1909-2003），江蘇無錫人。畢業於南京中央大學藝術系，徐悲鴻得意門生，素描、油畫、水墨皆擅。作品曾參加歷屆全國美術展覽並多次獲獎。曾任中國藝術學院副研究員。一九四六年，她與費成武等四人獲薦赴英倫深造，期間舉辦展覽，作品先後在英法等地知名畫廊展出，並入英、美、澳及歐洲等各地重要公私收藏，是少數在彼邦藝壇享譽的華裔藝術家。
註︰大千先生與費、張兩人乃舊交，兼與其師徐悲鴻的關係，在陪都時頗有往來。他去國移家，五十年代中期踏足歐洲，開展其旅遊、展覽之途。先後近十年英京勾留時，與費氏伉儷相晤，敍舊甚歡，遂有不少書畫相贈留念。從費氏伉儷「霧明樓」收藏可見，以五十年代中期最豐，不乏工筆細寫於日本製紙卡之作。
本幅寫於一九五六年，時大千訪倫敦，逗留約一周，復有日內瓦之行。來去匆匆，卻有多幅作品送贈費氏伉儷，本幅即其一。
