註：心畬先生擅寫松，得法於隱居馬鞍山戒壇寺時，古剎植松，皆千年之物，奇姿異態，各具其名，如「卧龍」、「自在」、「抱塔」、「九龍」等。他「日與松居」，遂引諸般姿態入畫。本卷寫松，共十二段，或孤枝矗立，或偃蓋成叢，疏密相間，以題詩區隔，所錄者，皆涉咏松，堪稱詩書畫三絶相配。
六十年代初，溥氏寫松長卷，亦書畫相配，求之者眾，遂連作十餘卷以應。本卷未署年，題「瞻望巖壑，道阻莫歸」，似屬渡海前之物也。
