註：集「南陳北崔」兩家法寫探梅仕女，樸拙具古意，見唐人風貌，乃畫家早年研習前賢人物技法之作。老蓮筆墨，大千早歲至中年皆有取法；惟明示師崔子忠者，則鮮見矣，本幅老梅奇崛，執拂仕女纖巧羸弱，開臉見「三白臉」之法，設色古艷，正畫家題款謂「老蓮、青蚓其原并出唐人」也！畫上未具年款，從題款字體、筆法、鈐用印章視之，似寫於二十年代末期。另「摩登戒體」朱文方印，極少見於畫上，可補充早期用印資料。
