註：附榕湖飯店友誼商場之「榮寶齋」分店發票，日期為一九八四年二月五日。畫名〈童牛〉，售價人民幣八千二百六十元。

北京榮寶齋曾設分店於桂林，位於榕湖飯店之友誼商場，由該市美協會員秦建春主理。現藏者於八四年二月到訪時，得其接待，並推介其師李可染之藝，遂購得本幅。

畫中牧童揚鞭策牛，踱步緩行，眺望瀑布穿巖而出，水氣雲嵐，激濺迴盪，此即可染好寫之山水放牧題材。其尺幅大於一般常見者，當屬畫家特別選紙而製。

另具日本製桐木畫匣，上具可染署本幅畫題，年款為一九八五年春，即現藏者購得後翌年，似屬原匣轉寄北京，待題畢方送返。
