山中夜讀侌符罷，虎嘯一聲山月高。劍父。
詩堂：
誰能見虎嘯，從容寫其形；獨有山中人，靜坐闚萬靈。明月照衰草，
雄聲振窗櫺；豈無搏噬愳，恃此重門扃。祇歟公之束，頗怪陰符經；
平生畏猛鷙，偶見翻自矜。傳寫誇朋儕，挂壁寒風腥；吾聞末法世，
所貴相憑陵。爪牙苟云利，讋服信可能；太息觀斯圖，騏驥宜無稱。
丙寅二月七日。畏翁戲題。
淺草平原事已非，長時踡伏亦何為；㩳身起作騰拏勢，知有驚麏去若飛。丙寅七月漫題。訒齋居士。
鈐印：
〈高〉 「嶺南老劍」、「高崙」、「高」押。

-Signs of restoration can be found on the painting and calligraphy, where there appears to be appear to be cracks previously. Otherwise, generally in fair to good condition.

註：本幅源出湖南茶陵譚氏家族遞藏。譚氏自譚鍾麟（1822－1905）於清末歷任封彊大吏，至兒輩譚延闓、澤闓於政界或藝壇皆地位顯赫。
譚組安與高劍父早歲同襄助革命，日後從政從藝，發展路向不同，惟當年志向如一，淵源非淺。本幅具譚氏一九二六年先後兩題，各賦七言、五言一首，詩境隨畫而生，或藉此言志。雖無年款，按畫風及題詩年份，當屬畫家二十年代所出，相類構圖之作亦多見其筆下。
畫上具藏印兩方，俱屬譚氏第三代。譚弼乃澤闓次子，「仲輝」即譚光（1902－1977），父譚恩闓（1881－1910），延闓胞弟也。可知此作近百年未有外流，一直保存於譚氏家族。
