童年故居階前有白茶花，早春盛放，幽香流溢，花下巨石遍生苔，花瓣飄零其上，白綠對比殊美。余雖童騃，已有賞花惜春之情，六十載過往，此情時入夢中。壬辰返臺，以絹本正反雙面工筆勾勒沒骨畫法，寫此〈春語呢喃〉於大直氤夢樓。劉墉記。
鈐印：「劉墉」、「夢然」、「氤夢樓」、「無用才子」、「氤夢樓」。
款識：
